This site is intended as an open-access hub for people involved in the food world: producers, processors, consumers, academics, writers, cooks, idealists, realists, control freaks, philosophers, <<insert category here>>.

As we are starting to see, food is much more than growing and cooking and eating. It is a multilayered, interdisciplinary construct, which each of us interacts with daily in hugely varying ways. Lots of aspects of the food world need to be changed, many preserved, some gotten rid of. Let this space be part of that process.



Incidentally, "cibo" (chee-bo) means food in Italian. "-matic", well, that's pretty straightforward.
